Like much of Ireland it’s a beautiful area. The castle is very accessible(and also very slippery). There are a few separate portions that are rather unstable but you can still walk through many of the main sections. These are various pictures of the grounds and ruins.
Then of course we had to actually climb up to kiss the blarney stone.
A friend of ours(Gary, pointed out in a much earlier post) dropped his camera off the top of the castle presumably through one of these holes but of course we had to finish going through the line to kiss the stone to help him look for it. It had also started raining quite hard so I put my camera away. Yes, I did kiss the blarney stone.
Once we got back to Cork I got a picture of the camera. Ouch.
That does it for the day, I do have a few pictures of exploring the hotel this time. I'll post them at a later point for you guys. Hope you enjoy
