Day 13 - The End

Final post of this trip, perhaps of the blog? It's been a great run, but I just can't find the time to regularly post about this all and check out everyones blogs at the same time.

Now to the final trip post: Funny story, when booking the flights my mother had forgotten we'd be in Limerick at the end of the trip so I was scheduled to fly out of Dublin instead...whoops. I had to take a taxi across the island which only took about two hours. He wanted about twice as much as he was supposed to get when we got there which I wouldn't have agreed to, just on principal, but the folks I was carpooling with were just paying him so I put in a fair share.

The view out of the Strand at about 3 in the bloody morning when I had to wake up.

 Sunrise from the Dublin airport

My plane, we actually walked across the tarmac to get to it. Oh Ireland, I have no complaints about my entire trip. The weather was great, the island beautiful and the people all very friendly.

The first thing I see when I get back at the baggage claim, a typo. Wonderful, reminds me of just how lacking some editors are.

Day 12 – Farewell to a Fun Group and a Great Country(p2)

Well this is awkward, my previous retelling of this trip is no longer available so I'll have to come up with it as best as I can remember, luckily there isn't much left.

Great advertisement, I think everyone got a picture of this at some point
Some of the traffic in Limerick

Too many cowboys, just one apache fit pretty well with them being next door to a New York Pizza

 Horry shet, it's a shark
 The view from my room
Our final dinner at the dining room of the Strand
The good man standing is our driver, Nigel giving us a final toast and thanking us for being a great group.
